Big 12 names Briles Coach of the Year

In a vote tabulated by the 10 league coach, Baylor's Art Briles was named the 2013 coach of the year.
Briles led Baylor to a history making season. Baylor enjoyed its first 11-win season (11-1) and won the outright Big 12 championship, the program's first conference title since 1980.
The Bears also finished the regular season ranked No. 6 in the final regular season BCS poll and Nos. 5/6 in the writers and coaches poll.
Baylor will meet Central Florida (11-1) in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1 in Glendale, AZ.
